Jammu-Srinagar Highway to remain closed tomorrow

JAMMU — Jammu-Srinagar Highway shall remain closed on Friday for repair and maintenance of critical spots.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Zia informed the news agency KNO that traffic will not ply on the highway.

“Remember, it is Dry Day (‘No Traffic Day’) on National Highway-44 tomorrow on March 03, 2023,” the DC tweeted.

Earlier, the government conveyed that there will be no traffic on the highway for three days (Fridays) including February 24, March 3 and March 10 for repair maintenance of critical spots on NH-44.

A Traffic department official said that people are advised not to undertake any journey on the highway till the restoration work is completed.
