Srinagar: Paying tributes to Towseef Ahmad Magray who was killed in Chadoora encounter, Joint Resistance Leadership Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik Tuesday said that the youth lay their lives to end the age-old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on their shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end.

Criticizing the criminal silence of the world community, leaders in a statement to KNS said, “Their insensitivity and unconcern is the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed.”

Pro-freedom leaders said, “The world forums, who stand witness to our dispute, act as mute spectators, thereby legitimizing and legalizing the brutalities unleashed in this region for the last 70 years.”

Paying tributes, Joint leadership said that youth are on the forefront of the movement whether laying their precious lives or livelihood or even facing the hardships in jails.

They said, “They bravely and willingly offer their today for our tomorrow.”

Pro-freedom leadership said, “This arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India has to come to terms with the writing on the wall, lest this unresolved and unaddressed volcano can erupt and burst anytime—engulfing millions of people in this region.”
