Shifting Govt Offices to Rajpora: BJP Youth Leader warns of dire consequences

Pulwama: Expressing concern over shifting of Government Offices from main town Pulwama to Rajpora Constituency, BJP Youth Leader and Pulwama Constituency President, Shabir Bhat today said that there is no logic in such a decision.

Bhat warned that any measure to enforce any decision upon the people of Pulwama Constituency against their aspirations and wishes shall be resisted.

Calling it handiwork of local PDP members, Shabir Bhat said that for their vote bank, they want to shift various Government offices including Maternity Hospital and IIM from main town Pulwama to Rajpora Constituency.

Bhat said that earlier it was decided that the Government offices would be constructed within the locality of Tehsil headquarter Pulwama “but due to political interference, the authorities are now notifying the land on the outskirts for the construction of the buildings.

Bhat demanded immediate cancellation of shifting decision and appealed to construct offices in the immediate vicinity of main town area. He threatened massive protests in case the government did not withdraw its shifting order.
