DHAKA — Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and left the country following severe clashes.
On Monday, around 2:30 PM, Hasina and her younger sister, Sheikh Rehana, departed from the presidential residence, Bangabhaban, on a military helicopter.
This move comes in response to escalating violence and unrest.
Reports indicate that Hasina is heading to a “safer place” as the situation in Bangladesh intensifies.
