ANANTNAG — A 28-year-old lady allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home at Shergund Uttersoo area of Shangus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The lady (name withheld) hanged herself at her home during Wednesday night, a police official said.
The family members of the lady, after spotting her hanging inside the room, immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and have taken up further investigations in this regard, the official added.
