Combined government forces recovered live grenades and cartridges from a village in Samba district of Jammu Kashmir during a search operation.

A young pregnant woman died in south Kashmir after her family was unable to shift her to hospital due to prevailing lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir. The 26-year-old woman hails from Pir Panchal area.

Anantnag is the only district across Jammu and Kashmir where active positive cases of Coronavirus have crossed 100 mark. The district has left behind Bandipora which was on top of the table as far as COVID-19 cases are concerned.

Pakistan Sunday said that a woman was killed after Indian troopers fired shells from across the border. Pakistan media, on the other hand, reported that Indian troops across the border opened fire and resorted to shelling in the border district of Rawalakot, killing a woman on the spot.
