Shepherd slips to death while grazing cattle in Anantnag

ANANTNAG — A shepherd slipped to death in south Kashmir while grazing the cattle.

Police sources said that a 40-year-old shepherd was grazing his cattle at Rawat Rakh pasture of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, when he lost his balance and fell into a deep gorge.

People present in the pasture shifted him to district hospital Anantnag where he succumbed due to his injuries.

A police official identified the deceased shepherd as Ahmed Shakoor from Gowas village of Anantnag.
