SRINAGAR — On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, Jammu & Kashmir Bank on Tuesday registered record transactions of Rs 11,000 crore with digital channels touching Rs 1,000 crore mark in a day.
According to the details available with the news agency KNO, the digital channel of the bank mPay hit Rs 1,000 crore mark in a day for the first time.
As per the details, a total of 493598 transactions worth Rs 3230.77 crore were recorded in just four days, which include two holidays and with today’s addition, it has touched Rs 11,000 crore, registering a total transactions worth Rs Rs 11,082.
Meanwhile, consumers expressed satisfaction over the working of the mPay app as unlike in previous years, they didn’t face any inconvenience while using the digital platform.
