SRINAGAR — Both the University of Kashmir (KU) and the J&K Board of Technical Education (JKBOTE) have announced the postponement of examinations scheduled for February 19 and 20, citing adverse weather conditions.
Kashmir University, in a notice issued on Monday, declared the postponement of all exams slated for February 19 and 20, 2024. The decision was made in light of prevailing weather conditions in the region. The university assured students that fresh dates for the rescheduled examinations would be communicated separately.
Similarly, the J&K Board of Technical Education has postponed its exams originally scheduled for February 20. In a notice, the board announced that the revised date for the examinations will be February 23, 2024.
The notice addressed to all Principals of Polytechnics in Jammu and Kashmir divisions, along with concerned students, stated that the postponement was due to unavoidable circumstances. The venue and timing of the rescheduled examinations remain unchanged, with exams set to commence at 10:30 AM.
