Teenage Kashmiri girl missing in Jammu from last Friday

JAMMU — Amid tense situation in Jammu following the Lethpora suicide attack on CRPF convoy, a 17-year-old girl has gone missing from the area since last Friday while as the family has registered a missing report in this regard.

The family of the girl said that their daughter went missing on last Friday after she went to a nearby shop to purchase detergent powder. They added that their daughter has not returned so far.

Residing in Bhag-e-Bahu area of Jammu, the 17-year-old girl hailing from Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district had moved to Jammu in December.

The family members said that they have registered a missing report in the concerned police station, Bagh-e-Bahu, urging people to help to trace their daughter.

Station House Officer (SHO) Bhag-e-Bahu, Sunil Kumar said that they have received a complaint in this regard while as the investigation has been taken up. (KNO)
