14-year-old boy ends life in Bandipora

BANDIPORA — A 14-year-old boy ended his life after hanging himself to death in the Plan area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.

Official sources said that said a 14-year-old boy (name withheld), a resident of Nowpora village allegedly committed suicide after hanging himself to death at his maternal uncle’s home in Plan Bandipora.

“Body of the deceased has been taken for completing medico-legal formalities and will be later on handed over to his family for last rites,” sources added.

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have set investigations into motion.
