Accompanied by DIG south Kashmir, IGP Kashmir visits Pulwama

Srinagar: IGP Kashmir, S. P. Pani (IPS) accompanied by DIG south Kashmir, Amit Kumar (IPS) visited Police Station Litter, CRPF Camp Tahab and DPO Pulwama in southern Kashmir’s district Pulwama on Saturday.

SP Pulwama, Chandan Kohli (IPS) received IGP Kashmir and other senior officers.

IGP Kashmir chaired the meeting of officers wherein he took a detailed review of security measures taken for forthcoming Panchayat elections. He directed the officers to ensure that the elections are held in a secure atmosphere.

He interacted with police personnel at Police Station Litter. He also heard the grievances of police personnel patiently and assured them that their genuine problems would be taken up on priority with concerned authorities.

The interaction was also attended by CO 182 Bn CRPF Shri Naveed Ahmad, Addl. SP Pulwama Mohd Anwar-ul-Haq, DySP Hqrs Farooq Ahmad, SDPO Litter Gh Hassan, DySP Kakapora Nawaz Ahmad and other officers of the district. (KNS)
