SOPORE — A civilian was shot at by unknown gunmen in Zaloora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening at his residence.
Reports reaching here said that unknown gunmen barged into the house of Feroz Ahmad Gojri resident of Zaloora Sopore and shot at him in both legs.
The civilian was left injured at his home after which he was taken to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the second attack in last 24 hours in the twin towns of north Kashmir’s Handwara and Sopore.
Yesterday, unknown gunmen killed a civilian in Babagund village of Handwara.
Meanwhile, police sources confirmed the incident.
Also, government forces launched massive searches to nab the attackers.
