“Today’s event is an attempt to educate the young minds about what we can achieve in terms of growth and development without sacrificing the environment. We have come here together for a cause which is certainly impacting our lives in a big way but hardly do we bother to look within ourselves to act. Although this is a mere attempt to raise awareness but society as a whole needs to act before it is too late,” she remarked.

It is pertinent to mention here that the guest speakers, including the Executive Officer, Municipal Council Pulwama, lauded the efforts of The Kashmir Pulse for organizing awareness programs on such important issues and wished for greater participation of civil society in holding more such informative events.
