CRPF trooper shoots self dead in Lethpora Pulwama

SRINAGAR — A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper shot himself dead in Lethpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday morning.

An official said that at about 10 AM, a CRPF constable identified as T. Sriniwas of 90 battalion, presently attached with 185 CRPF battalion, shot himself dead with his service rifle.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation into the matter is going on.
