Five youth picked up by government forces in Pulwama

PULWAMA — Five youth were arrested during nocturnal raid by government forces in Tahab village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to reports, government forces during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday conducted raid in Tahab village and arrested five youths.

Police confirmed the raids and said that the arrested youth were involved in stone pelting incidents in the area.

The arrested youths have been identified as Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Gani Mir, Aasif Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Gani Rather, Nasir Ahmad Ganie son of Nazir Ahmad Ganie and two brothers namely Naseer Ahmad Wani & Suhail Ahmad Wani – sons of Abdul Rashid Wani, all residents of Tahab village of Pulwama.
