Srinagar: Four militants have been killed so far in an ongoing encounter after a predawn gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Sekipora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
A senior Police officer said that four militants have been killed so far. He further said that bodies have not been recovered yet as more militants are believed to be trapped.
Earlier SSP Anantnag, Altaf Khan said that contact has been established with militants after having credible information about their presence. (GNS)
