SRINAGAR — Four workers were injured after they came under a landslide while maintaining the road in Chandanwari area of Pahalgam on Sunday.

An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that four labourers, who were working with the Beacon department, received injuries after they came under a landslide while maintaining the road.

He said that the injured labourers have been identified as Tariq Ahmad Khan son of Noor Mohammad Khan, a resident of Hyhama Kupwara, Tanveer Ahmad Khatana son of Mehboob Ahmad Khatana, a resident of Awoora Kupwara, Naseer Ahmad Bajad son of Abdul Hamid Bajad, a resident of Magam Handwara and Jahangir Ahmad Cheechi son of Mohammad Shafi Cheechi, a resident of Tarthpora Kupwara.

The injured were shifted to PHC Pahalgam, from where two were referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
