House linked to militancy seized under UAPA in Anantnag

SRINAGAR — A two-storey house was attached under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in southern Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.

An official was quoted by the news agency Kashmir Scroll that in a major action against militancy, Anantnag Police carried out the attachment of a two-storey residential house belonging to militant associate Riyaz Ahmad Bhat in Lohar Senzi Gadole area.

“The attachment was executed under UA(P) Act after confirmation from competent authority,” he said.

Further investigation, in this connection, by the security agencies has been taken up.
