In Shopian village, thieves steal over 20 sheep

SHOPIAN — Cattle thieves stole over 20 sheep of a man in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The theft incident occurred during the intervening night of July 6 and 7 at Mugalpora Keegam village.

Sources said that one Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani son of Noor Muhammad Wani registered a complaint at the police station, claiming that the thieves stole over 20 sheep from his shed located at Mugalpora Keegam village of Shopian district.

The incidents of cattle theft are not uncommon in the countryside of Kashmir.
