
SRINAGAR — All but two months after being fired by the suspected militants, a 24-year-old youth from Soura succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Wednesday.
An official said that Nadif Hanief Khan son of Muhammad Hanief, a resident of Bilal Colony Soura died late last night at SKIMS Soura where he was admitted since December 1, 2020, when the suspected militants fired upon him near his residence.
Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr. Farooq Jan said that the youth had a firearm injury in the head and died at the hospital overnight.
Jammu and Kashmir Police have already registered a case in this regard.
