Srinagar: Police on Sunday claimed to have killed a militant in a brief shootout at Khrew area in Pampore of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“A JeM militant was killed in a brief exchange of fire at Khrew, Pampore,” police said in a tweet.
The body has been recovered along with arms and ammunition.
Searches in the area are going on, police said. (GNS)
