Militant hideout busted in Shopian

SRINAGAR — A militant hideout was busted by the police and Army in Kungnoo village of Shopian in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, police said.

“A militant hideout was busted in village Kungnoo Shopian in a joint operation by Shopian Police and Army’s 44 RR,” said a police spokesman on Twitter.

He said huge quantity of incriminating materials and other items were recovered from the hideout. “Officers from local unit are investigating,” he said.
