
SRINAGAR — A mild earthquake struck different parts of Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.
As per the National Center for Seismology — which monitors earthquake activity all across the country — the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter Scale hit the region with epicenter in Pakistan.
The epicentre is located at Latitude 33.63 and Longitude 74.462, with a recorded depth of 10 kilometres. The tremors were also felt in several parts of Kashmir, officials said.
There were no immediate reports of any damage or loss to any life from anywhere.
