SRINAGAR — Moderate rain and snow has been forecasted for Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as the minimum temperature here settled above the freezing point.

The forecast is for the next 24 hours till Thursday, a Met official said.

The minimum temperature here settled at 1.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday while in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, it was minus 0.5 and minus 5.6, respectively.

In Ladakh’s Leh, it was minus 7.6, minus 13 in Kargil and minus 7.2 in Drass.
