SRINAGAR — The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday carried out searches in the Nigeen area of Srinagar district.
An official said that the search is being conducted by the NIA in Nigeen area of Srinagar.
The NIA with the assistance of the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out searches in Srinagar at the residence of Sahil Zaroo, a businessman related with carpets at Nigeen area in connection with the suspended police officer Davinder Singh case.
The NIA had taken over the case of Jammu and Kashmir’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Davinder Singh who was caught while ferrying two militants out of the Valley on January 11. The DSP has since been suspended.
