This sentence marks a significant stride towards reformative justice in the region. The BNS provision emphasizes rehabilitation and encourages offenders to contribute positively to their community. Instead of solely focusing on deterrence, the new code aims to foster social responsibility and accountability.

The Pulwama Police Department has pledged its commitment to implementing the new provisions of the BNS, striving to balance justice, rehabilitation, and the overall well-being of society.
