SRINAGAR — Mobile internet and mobile calling services were suspended in Kashmir valley as a precautionary measure, following the killing of top Hizb commander Riyaz Naikoo and his aide.

Official sources said that mobile services and mobile voice services were suspended as a precautionary measure.

Authorities suspended mobile telephone services of private operators and mobile internet services across the Valley. However, BSNL landline, BSNL mobile voice and broadband internet services is functional in the Valley.

Mobile internet services of all other mobile phone operators were suspended as a precautionary measure.
