PULWAMA — Government forces arrested at least seven youth during nocturnal raids in Kakapora belt of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Locals said that government forces carried out raids in Narbal area of Kakapora tehsil.

Locals identified the arrested youth as Irfat Rather, Adil Khan, Muhammad Altaf Khan, Farooz Khan, Arbiz Khan, Adnan Khan and Arifat Khan.

An official while confirming their arrest said that they have been arrested for questioning regarding militantancy and stone pelting related cases.
