Shopkeeper critical after being shot at in Pulwama

Srinagar: A shopkeeper was injured critically after being shot at by unknown gunmen at Kakapora area of Pulwama district on Friday evening.

Confirming the incident, SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Chaudhary told GNS that suspected militants fired upon the shopkeeper namely Manzoor Ahmad at Kakapora.

In the incident, Manzoor received serious bullet wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to SMHS Srinagar for specialized treatment, he said.

A case has been registered and further investigation taken up in this regard, SSP added. (GNS)
