SRINAGAR — Three militants were killed in a fierce encounter which broke out during pre-dawn hours at Dalipora area of south Kashmir in Pulwama on Thursday.
A senior police officer confirmed the killing of three militants and their bodies have been recovered too. However, the identity of the militants is yet to be ascertained.
As per the sources, fourth body has also been recovered from encounter site which is yet to be identified whether it’s a militant or a civilian.
Meanwhile, massive clashes were going on till this report was being filed.
Earlier, a civilian and three Army men were also injured in initial exchange of firing who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Later, one Army soldier succumbed to his injury at 92 Base hospital.
