KUPWARA — On the very first day of the new year, a militant was killed in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police informed through social media that a militant was killed in Jumangund area of Kupwara.

“One unidentified (militant) killed in an encounter at Jumagund area of Kupwara. Army & Police are on the job,” the Jammu Kashmir Police through its official Twitter handle informed.
