Wreath laying ceremony for four slain cops held at DPL Shopian


Srinagar: To pay homage to four slain cops of Jammu and Kashmir Police who were killed today, a wreath laying ceremony was held today at District Police Lines (DPL) in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, a police spokesman said.

Civil & Police Officers led by Director General of Police J&K, Shri S.P Vaid laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the slain cops who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty, he said.

Among others who paid floral tributes include IGP Kashmir Shri S.P Pani, DIG SKR, DC Shopian, ASP Shopian and other officers and jawans, the spokesman added.
