Youth found dead in Handwara

SRINAGAR — A 20-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious conditions in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.

A Police official said that a youth identified as Amir Ahmad son of Ghulam Hassan Mir was found dead at bus stand in Handwara.

The locals informed police who reached to the spot and took the body into their custody for legal formalities, he said, adding that the body will be handed over to the family for last rites.

Meanwhile, a police officer said that a case under the relevant Sections was registered while further investigation has been taken up.
