SRINAGAR — Meteorological Department Srinagar on Monday predicted widespread light to moderate rain or snowfall, mainly over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir during February 22 and 23, even as there is no forecast of any major rain for the next 10 days.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the main activity will be on the night of February 22 and 23, which may affect highways like Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

He said that widespread light to moderate rain or snow, mainly over higher reaches with main activity on February 22 (night) and February 23 which may affect highways like Jammu-Srinagar NH.

The official also said that after this, there is no forecast of any major rain for the next 10 days.
