IUST invites applications for multiple administrative and technical posts

PULWAMA — The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has invited applications from permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for a range of administrative and technical positions.

According to Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2015, the university is seeking to fill posts including Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Accounts Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, and Medical Assistant.

The recruitment drive covers the following vacancies: two posts each of Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar, one post of Accounts Assistant, two posts of Laboratory Assistant, and one post of Medical Assistant.

Applicants for the Deputy Registrar positions must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale, along with five years of relevant administrative experience or comparable experience in research establishments. Desirable skills include strong communication abilities and experience in handling examinations and records.

Candidates for Assistant Registrar should also possess a Master’s degree with the same minimum academic standard, alongside good computer skills and communication abilities.

The Accounts Assistant role requires a commerce graduate with at least a second division, plus two years’ accounting experience. The Laboratory Assistant positions are open to science graduates with at least 50% marks or equivalent GPA, with preference given to those with higher qualifications in civil engineering and relevant experience.

The Medical Assistant post is open to diploma holders in Medical Assistance from a recognized institution, with two years’ experience in government or semi-government organizations.
