J&K High Court Recruitment 2015: Applications invited for 113 posts

SRINAGAR — The Honourable High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has announced its first recruitment notification for 2015 and invited applications for 113 posts.

The High Court of J&K has invited applications for the posts mentioned below:

• Steno-Typist: 09 Posts (Divisional Cadre Kashmir)
• Steno-Typist: 04 Posts (Divisional Cadre Jammu)
• Junior Assistant: 28 Posts (Divisional Cadre Kashmir)
• Junior Assistant: 72 Posts (Divisional Cadre Jammu)

Pay-Scale: The appointee will get a salary as per the pay scale given below:

1) For Steno-Typist Post: Rs 5200-Rs 20200 (Grade Pay: Rs 2400)
2) For Junior Assistant Post: Rs 5200-Rs 20200 (Grade Pay: Rs 2900)

It is worth mentioning here that applicants who have applied under J&K High Court Notification No. 968, dated 20-02-2014 need not apply again.

Applicants willing to apply for the above-mentioned posts must meet the below-mentioned conditions:

Nativity: Applicant must be a permanent resident of J&K state and must be a state subject of J&K.

Age-Limit (as on 01-01-2015): Applicant’s age must be above 18 years and below 40 years. However, there is an age relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC candidates and 2 years age relaxation for Physically
Challenged candidates and 8 years age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must fulfill the below-mentioned educational qualifications:

I. For Steno-Typist: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University along with a Diploma in shorthand and typewriting having a speed of 30 WPM in typing and 60 WPM in shorthand.
II. For Junior Assistant Post: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Along with this, the applicant must have a working knowledge of Urdu.

Applicants who meet the above-mentioned eligibility conditions must submit their applications in the prescribed application format.

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 100 as application fees in the form of a Bank Draft favouring Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Justice of J&K, drawn in any J&K Branch.

Application Form: Applicants can download the application form from the High Court’s website or can get the application form from local stationary shops.

Receipt of Application Form: The duly filled-in application form, along with the Demand Draft required Documents/Certificates (Matric Diploma/Character Certificate/State Subject/Qualification Certificate) must reach the Office of Registrar Judicial at High Court Jammu/Srinagar. The last date for submitting the application form is April 12, 2015.
