Job opportunities at HISTA Higher Secondary School

ANANTNAG — HISTA Higher Secondary School, located on K.P. Road in Anantnag, has announced several teaching and non-teaching vacancies to strengthen its permanent staff across primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels. According to the official job notice, the school is seeking qualified professionals for positions including Principal, Lecturers in various disciplines, Computer Science Teacher, Subject Teachers for classes 8th to 10th, and General Line Teachers. The advertisement also includes vacancies for non-academic roles such as Physical Education Teacher, Lab Assistant, Sweepers, and Drivers.

The highest academic role of Principal requires a candidate with a Master’s degree along with B.Ed or M.Ed and administrative capabilities. Lecturers in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Environmental Science, and other subjects must hold relevant postgraduate qualifications. Notably, candidates with B.Ed or M.Ed degrees and prior teaching experience will be given preference.

The school is also looking for teachers specialised in medical and non-medical streams, as well as Arabic and Islamic Studies. Lab Assistants, Sweepers, and Drivers are required to have basic educational qualifications, with experience considered an added advantage.
