University of Kashmir announces job opening for Placement Officer

SRINAGAR — The University of Kashmir (KU) has issued a brief advertisement notice inviting applications from permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir for the position of Placement Officer. The vacancy is available within the Department of Business and Financial Studies.

According to Brief Advertisement Notice No. 1 of 2015, the university has revised the educational qualifications for the post, which was previously advertised on March 1, 2014.

Eligible candidates must now possess a “good academic record with at least 55% marks” (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) in a Master’s in Finance & Control, MBA, or M.Com degree from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

The position carries a Pay Band of Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 alongside a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400.
