Closing Date for Online Registration of Application Forms is 03rd June, 2016. Staff Selection Commission Stenographers Examination 2016 will be held on 31st July, 2016.

Pay Scale: For scale of pay for Stenographer posts at SSC, please go through the official notification.

Educational Eligibility: Applicants must have the qualification of 12th Standard / Intermediate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Check the official notification for complete details.

Age: Age limit for all candidates must be in between 18 years to 27 years as on 01st August, 2016. 5 years relaxation is there for SC / ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PH candidates.

Application Fee: Application fee (non-refundable) for candidates belonging to General / OBC category is Rs. 100/-; for SC / ST / PWD / Women / Ex-Servicemen category candidates, there is no application fee.

Selection Process: Applicants will be selected based on their performance in Written Exam only. Applicants who will be selected in Written Exam, will be called for Skill Test.
