Mother, I have not known life:
Food is no longer delicious for me,
Motherhood and fatherhood are alien things to me,
Relatives haunt my brain,
Education is unacceptable to me,
Careers have no charm for me,
Personality development is not my aim,
Caring for others is not what I want,
Socialization is horrible for me,
Alienation, though in the company of God, is loving,
Loving the congregations of the poor are sweet,
The worldly books are to be hated,
The beauties of nature are useless for me,
Beauties, girls are ugly for me,
Sexual thirst is unknown to me,
Tall claims of politicians are worthless,
My sisters are others’ possessions,
Ask God whom to marry them without mindless rituals,
Mother, I am a misfit here.
Tell my father, I am known to other world.
Mother, start living without me.
My plate should be given to the dumb woman of Srinagar,
My phone should be given to poor girl of my locality, who cannot afford a phone,
My books should be given to a coaching centre.
Money, I have not earned.
So, forgive me for this.
Let me go peacefully.
Mother, I am bidding you goodbye.
See you after this temporary life.
I will provide you with every kind of luxury.
