I tend to raise my hands before Thee
To pray or to question, I would think
Why there, such chasm in my heart?
Why sins seem to be an attribute?
I’m the one, who went astray
O’Lord! I’m the fallen one
As I left You, I lost the way

The burden of sins on my back,
With wealth, as my new lord
Like breeze, my every moment passes
On dark path, I went on to move
Like that of rivers, I went on flowing
The endless desires, I always fulfilled
I’m the one, who’s guilty of himself

Why I love world, that’ll finish one day?
Why I collect wealth, that’ll slip away
All, made of clay, and got mixed in it
That’s the truth, I should know
Why I am turning away from reality?
O’Lord! I’m the fallen one
As I left You, I lost the way

Whatever the desires, I may have
Shall I cite my being, evanescent
That’ll be faded one day, and
My heart, unable to heal
Under such deep wounds
O’Lord! I am the fallen one
As I left You, I lost the way

A TEAR I AM

For such questions, He spoke up,
“If you think you’re fallen, hold my hand
Standing at your heart-door, just accept me
If you think you’re confined by darkness,
I am the lucent of your path
As I free you from your burden,
You are sinless in my eyes”

Listening to Him, my tears replied,
“Show me such a miracle, that
I’ll be one of Thine friends
Tell me something from Your heart,
My wounded heart, gets healed
O’Lord! I am the fallen one
As I left You, I lost the way”
