SRINAGAR — The State Institute of Education, Kashmir, has officially issued the date sheet for the Class 8th T-2 (Annual) Examinations for the October-November 2012 session.
The examinations, which will be held across the Kashmir Province, including the regions of Leh and Kargil, are set to begin on October 9, 2012. Students are instructed to be prepared for a prompt 10:00 AM start time for all scheduled subjects.
The testing period commences with the English examination on Tuesday, October 9. This is followed immediately by the regional language paper—offering options in Bhodi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, or Dogri—on Wednesday, October 10.
Following a short preparation break, students will sit for the Science exam on Saturday, October 13. The following week will test students in Social Science on Tuesday, October 16, and Mathematics on Friday, October 19. The examination cycle will conclude on Sunday, October 21, with the Urdu or Hindi language paper.
Candidates are required to take their examinations at the specific Complex Centres identified by their respective District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs).
A key directive authorised by G. M. Dar, Principal and Joint Director of Trainings for the State Institute of Education, outlines a strict timeline for the grading process.
The notification mandates that all involved DIETs must conduct the examinations and evaluate the papers concurrently. This accelerated, side-by-side evaluation strategy has been implemented to guarantee that final results are declared on or before November 1, 2012.
