J&K Government alters qualification for Accounts Assistant posts

SRINAGAR — Government of Jammu & Kashmir’s Finance Department has ordered a change in qualification for Accounts Assistant posts.

The minor change in the qualification for appointment to Accounts Assistant posts has been notified through a Government Order No. 382-F of 2019; Dated: 09-07-2019.

“In partial modification to Government Order No. 515-F of 2018; Dated: 30.11.2018, it is hereby ordered that the minimum qualification of candidates for selection to the post of Accounts Assistants shall be Graduation or above from any recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks for Open Merit and 45% marks for Reserved Category,” reads the notification.

As per the notification, only those candidates are eligible to apply for such posts as may have completed their Graduation in Commerce, Business Administration, Science, Computer Applications or any other discipline with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics as one of the subjects.
