Srinagar: Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Directorate of Social Welfare Kashmir has issued a Press Release concerning Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarship Scheme 2018.
As per the Department, online scholarship applications (Fresh/Renewal) are invited for Students of Minority Communities (Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India) and Students with Disabilities (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Persons With Disabilities, Government of India).
Online implementation of these Scholarship Schemes will be done through the common National Scholarship Web Portal (NSP) of the Government of India which has been opened for the current financial year i.e, (2018-19) from 23-07-2018.
Conditions / Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship (Students with Disabilities):

03. | Top Class Education for students with Disabilities | 6.00 lacs |
Conditions / Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship (Students without Disabilities):

After submitting the Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarship Scheme 2018 application online, take a print-out of the application & submit it in your School / College / Institution.
The following documents need to be attached with the application form: (i) Aadhar Card (ii) Photo with Signature (iii) Previous Year’s Marks Sheet (iv) Residential Proof (v) Self Declaration of Income Proof (vi) Self Declaration of Religion Certificate (vii) Bank Passbook Xerox with IFSC Number.
The Last Date for applying for the scholarship schemes is 30th September, 2018.
Attention of students is invited to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) available on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) homepage of the website for filling up of Online Application.
All Universities / Institutes / Colleges / Schools located in Kashmir Province who have not registered themselves yet are advised to register themselves and their course details on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) by 15th August, 2018 so that their students can apply and they can verify such applications on the portal without any delay.
