
Srinagar: Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Directorate of School Education Kashmir has announced the DSEK Selection List for Teacher Posts (District Cadres: Kashmir).
The Selection List of candidates for the post of “Teacher” (Education Department) is for the District Cadres – Shopian, Srinagar, Pulwama, Kupwara, Kulgam, Budgam, Baramulla, Bandipora and Anantnag.
The list has been issued in pursuance to Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2012; Dated: 19-07-2012 (Item No’s. 033, 037, 029, 025, 021, 013, 009, 005 & 001 respectively) under Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants (Pending Cases) and issuance of Provisional Appointment thereof.
Now, therefore, sanction is accorded to the provisional appointment of One-Hundred Three (103) candidates as Teachers in District Cadre Shopian (03), Srinagar (18), Pulwama (12), Kupwara (07), Kulgam (12), Budgam (02), Baramulla (14) and Anantnag (45) against the additional posts created under Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants as per the Annexure to this order in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800 and 2400 for Graduates and above and Under-Graduates respectively, admissible under SRO-93; Dated: 15-04-2009.
The candidate are required to report to the concerned Chief Education Officers, within Twenty-one (21) days from the date of issuance of this appointment order for seeking further posting on their own risk and responsibility till the verification / authentication of all relevant documents / certificates are received from the concerned issuing authorities.

The provisional appointment shall be subject to the following conditions:
(A) The appointee shall give an undertaking in the shape of an affidavit to the effect that in case adverse report about his / her character and antecedents is received from the Additional Director General of Police, CID, Jammu & Kashmir, to who a reference shall be made by the concerned Chief Education Officer; his / her appointment shall be itself stand cancelled abinitio and he / she shall have no claim of his / her appointment.
(B) The verification of Qualification Certificates / Reserved Category Certificate (wherever applicable) from the concerned issuing authority.
The Chief Education Officer, concerned shall allow the candidates to join on the post after verifying the following certificates (in original).
- Character and Antecedents Certificates from Additional Director General of Police (CID).
- Qualification Certificates viz Degree / Marks.
- Permanent Resident Certificates.
- Migration Certificate where eligible for seeking employment under Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants.
- Age and Health Certificates.
- Discharge Certificate from the Institution attending / last attended.
- Certificate from the concerned authority to the effect that no loan under-self employment scheme has been taken by the concerned candidates.
- Category certificates (in case of reserved categories) under SRO 294 of 21-10-2005.
- Total Marks / Marks obtained and percentage of the selectee be also got verified / authenticated from the issuing authority and ensure that the merit points reflected in the selection list are recorded according to the genuineness marks card /qualification certificate.
The formal appointment orders of the candidates shall be issued only after receiving verification reports viz date of birth certificates / qualification / marks certificate / category certificate and other (if any) from the issuing authority through concerned Chief Education Officer and no salary till issuance of such orders shall be drawn.
The provisional appointee shall have to work in the respective district of appointment in the Kashmir Valley and shall not be eligible for transfer outside the district under any circumstances.
In case the appointee migrates from Kashmir Valley at any time during his / her service tenure, for any reason whatsoever, his / her appointment / service shall stand terminated without any notice by itself by the acton of his / her migration, in terms of the agreement executed by each appointee under SRO-412.
The seniority of the appointees shall be fixed at the places on the posts of their first appointment in that particular grade / service and the provisional appointees shall be on probation initially for a period of two years.
The provisional appointment of candidates is subject to the final outcome of the cases, if any, pending before in any Hon’ble Court which are not immediately within the knowledge of the Directorate.
