Social Welfare Department extends last date for MoMa Scholarship

Srinagar: Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir has extended the last date for submission of online applications for MoMa Scholarship.

The last date has been extended for both Fresh & Renewal Applications under Pre-Matric, Post-Matric and Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship Scheme for students belonging to the notified Minority Communities for the year 2017-18 till 30th September, 2017 on NSP Portal.

“As per latest communication received from Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India vide F. No. 9/21/2017-SS; Dated: 25-08-2017 duly endorsed by Administrative Department vide No: SWD/Sch/02/2017; Dated: 28-08-2017, the last date for submission of on-line (Fresh/Renewal) applications under Pre-Matric, Post-Matric and Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship Scheme through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has been further extended upto 30th September, 2017,” reads a notification issued by the Department in this regard.

The interested and eligible students can apply for Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarship Scheme (MoMa Scholarship) 2017 online from the National Scholarship Portal.

After submitting the Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarship Scheme 2017 application online, take a print-out of the application & submit it in your School / College / Institution.

The following documents need to be attached with the application form:

1. Aadhar Card
2. Photo with Signature
3. Previous Year’s Marks Sheet
4. Residential Proof
5. Self Declaration of Income Proof
6. Self Declaration of Religion Certificate
7. Bank Passbook Xerox with IFSC Number
