As authorities have directed doctors working in government hospitals to refrain from conducting normal surgeries due to the situation arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, majority of the doctors are taking advantage of the situation by conducting surgeries in their private clinics and private nursing homes.

One more person died of COVID-19 infection in Kashmir Valley today. The death occurred at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar.

One more person from Jawbara Awantipora was today tested positive of COVID-19, taking the total number of positive cases to 10 in the district.
