A massive cordon and search operation (CASO) has been launched by Jammu & Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces in Zoonimar, Srinagar following inputs about presence of militants in the area.

One unidentified militant was killed in an encounter that started between government forces and militants at Damhal Hanjipora area in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday morning.
