PULWAMA — Independence Day was celebrated in District Police Lines Pulwama wherein DC Pulwama Dr. Raghav Langer (IAS) unfurled the Tricolor and took salute at a ceremonial march past.
Among civil, Police and central paramilitary forces, Addl. SP Pulwama Tanveer Ahmad, CRPF, Army and other officers were present on the occasion.
Contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest, F&E Service, SPOs, Home Guards also participated. Information and Youth Services & Sports Departments also collaborated in the event.
Prizes were distributed among the best contingents of parade, cultural, social activists, COVID warriors and others who participated in the Independence Day celebrations.
